OVERVIEW

Haverhill Travel Basketball is an inclusive program for boys and girls focused on developing Haverhill youth basketball players in grades 4 through 8 in preparation for competing at the High School level. Haverhill Travel Basketball is a competitive league in which all players must try out and be selected to play on a team at their grade level. Players will be evaluated in a tryout setting, then placed on a skill appropriate team.

IMPORTANT DATES for 2024/2025

Annual tryouts will be held on Saturday, 9/14, and Sunday, 9/22.
Team practices start the week of November 4th.
The season kicks off on Thanksgiving weekend (Friday, 11/29 - Sunday, 12/1) as teams will participate in the 40th Annual Bob Adiconis Thanksgiving Tournament, sponsored by Fundamental Hoops.
Regular season games will commence the week of December 2nd.
League playoffs will be played during the week of Monday, 3/3 - Sunday, 3/9/2025.

Each team will have two practices per week, 16-20 league games, and will be entered to play in at least two tournaments throughout the season.

Boys Travel Basketball Season - 2024/2025

Haverhill Travel Basketball is an inclusive program for boys and girls focused on developing Haverhill youth basketball players, in grades 4 through 8, in preparation for competing at the High School level. Haverhill Travel Basketball is a competitive league in which all players must try out and be selected to play on a team at their grade level. Players will be evaluated in a tryout setting, then placed on a skill appropriate team.

We encourage anyone interested in playing for HTB to attend tryouts. We try to secure a spot for everyone that tries out for a team however, getting selected to a team is not guaranteed.

To be eligible for our program, your child must have primary residency in the City of Haverhill. Proof of address may be required.

For those players that attend school in Haverhill, but do not live in the city, may be eligible with a waiver from the league. Please reach out to the respective program director (Girls or Boys) via email to request a waiver or learn more info.

For players that split time with parents living in two different residences, you must apply for waiver if the PLAYERS primary residence is not in the City of Haverhill.
